Lake State professor arrested
Professor Dan Mugavero has been arrested and charged with three crimes: embezzlement, tax fraud, and possession of child pornography. According to The Evening News, the Lake State Business and Economics professor was arrested and arraigned on Monday of this week and entered a not guilty plea on all charges. [more...]

Fire in Brady Hall

UP IN SMOKE — The odor of smoke drove Brady Hall residents Tony Cutler and Eric Greenwald to contact Sault fire fighters. After 7 p.m., city police, fire fighters, and at least one ambulance to respond to the odor and smoke in Brady Hall. Officials determined that a faulty fan blower was the source. Once the building was deemed safe, the matter was turned over to maintenance.
